Policy changes and consequent action to improve the agricultural food system in Southeast Asia.
Stronger regional cooperation and governance frameworks that drive sustainable agricultural policies and innovations.
Advancing Policy Innovation for a Sustainable Agricultural Future
Policy studies, either regional or national, will be conducted to analyze current agricultural policies and related issues in the region. This is to provide evidence-based, timely, and realistic recommendations to policymakers to help address critical issues and challenges. These will be disseminated in the form of policy papers/briefs or through policy dialogues.
Roundtables on relevant agriculture and agriculture-related policies will be organized regularly to facilitate discussions and draw up courses of action to resolve current issues and challenges faced by the region’s agriculture sector. Results of policy studies conducted under this component of CADRE will also be highlighted and tackled during these PRTs.
Engaging policymakers, researchers, and industry experts in regular dialogues.
Tackling real-world agricultural issues through knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
Ensuring that insights from research translate into concrete government action.
