For nearly six decades, SEARCA has been a driving force in advancing agricultural and rural development in Southeast Asia. As SEAMEO’s center of excellence in agriculture, SEARCA supports transformation efforts through education, research, and policy advocacy. As the only regional entity dedicated exclusively to agriculture, it plays a vital role in shaping ASEAN’s agricultural agenda.
SEARCA is committed to elevating the quality of life for agricultural families by fostering sustainable and resilient livelihoods, expanding access to modern networks, and enabling innovative market solutions. By advocating for stronger academe-industry-government (AIG) partnerships and engaging with non-governmental organizations, research institutions, and civil society groups, SEARCA strives to drive meaningful change in the region’s agriculture sector.
